BUYING ADVISORY: Pre-K, EL (K-3) - ESSENTIAL
APPEALS TO: MANY
What does 'one' mean? It could be one lamp or one family of three. One could also mean one bowl of pears or one leg of a butterfly.
Shannon has written a sweet picture book showing how families are different. They can be big or small and can be made up of different genders and races. In addition, it also teaches basic counting and number concepts.
My daughter and I enjoyed this book. It was fun to see how the number one could mean so many different things. The illustrations went well with the text.
