Eddy, the goldfish, wishes he had someone to play with. One day, he sees a new yellow fish outside of his bowl that plays games with him. Soon after, there are two yellow fish outside of his bowl. He loves playing with them! Eddy longs to play with his new friends outside of his fishbowl, so one day he decides to jump out to play. Where did his two new friends go? All he sees is a cat with two yellow eyes! Will they still be friends?
Ha has written a great book. The pictures gave young readers just enough hints for them to be able to predict what the "yellow fish" were. This made it fun for the reader to see how Eddy the fish would react once he met up with his friend. It has a fun twist at the end with the theme of friendship.
