When mom has to go away for awhile to care for people in the hospital with Covid-19, a little girl is sad. Mom is a doctor and she is needed at the hospital to care for all the sick people. The garage is made into a bedroom for mom. She can't come in the house and risk making the girl and her dad sick with the nasty virus. The little girl and her dad keep busy cooking together, keeping things clean, washing hands and wearing masks when they go outside. They do all they can to stay healthy and busy. She even gets to help her grandparents.
The whole Covid-19 pandemic has been hard on everyone, but this book helps build confidence and strength in working together when things are hard. The little girl is very brave through all this, mom gone, not attending school in-person, but doing on-line school.
