Rodeo Red loves to ride her horse everywhere. Everywhere they go they take Rodeo Red's hound dog Rusty with them. They have a lot of fun adventures together. That is, until Slim came along and stole Rusty. Rodeo Red tried every trick in the book to get Rusty back, but the sheriff and the deputy put a stop to that. What will Rodeo Red to do? Can she finally get Rusty back for good?
A delightful book, with delightful illustrations full of feeling. It is easy to tell how Red feels from the illustrations. The cowboy language lends authenticity to the story. I found the book to be original and fun. I loved this story of sibling rivalry and had to smile and giggle several times. Enjoy it with your children and grandchildren.
