A feast for the eye and for the ear! Oswald’s color palete hits just the right note. I really, really wanted this book to glow in the dark – it feels like it should, but I’m ok that it doesn’t. Plus he adds so many visual treats for those with sharp eyes. Geron doesn’t slack either. The text is chockful of puns - so many that the 9th grade teacher I was showing it to wants me to keep it so he can read with his classes. The chicken even breaks the 4th wall. This will be a favorite!
