Three kittens are looking forward to their special day of making Spring Cakes with Mom, but first they have to gather ingredients. But one of the necessary ingredients is magic roses from the witch...will the kittens be brave enough to get them?
Written and illustrated in graphic novel format, this is bound to be of interest to young readers. The pictures are vibrant and the dialogue in word bubbles is easy to follow. My students thought that it was a good adventure story since the kittens' mom sent them out on their own to gather the ingredients from different places without her.
