AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
Line and Scribble choose to do things differently from each other. Despite their differences, Line and Scribble can still be friends, and can even enhance each other's view of things.
Although only illustrated in black and white, with just a touch of red, this book is full of vibrancy and imagination. The words are simple and clear as the drawings yet hold a lot of meaning. Young students may not yet grasp all there is to understand about importance of differences, but they will surely appreciate the camaraderie and value in recognizing contrast.
