Reading this book series is a fun way for early readers to hone their reading skills. Each book features a certain vowel sound. I read books one, two, three, and six in this series. There are eight books altogether. I would recommend this book series for early readers because the pictures are bright and engaging. The text and illustrations together are often humorous and will keep a student's attention. In the back, there is a list of words that were highlighted in each book. Students are encouraged to make up a story using those words.
