AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
Winter Wind has had a busy season of creating storms and blowing the leaves off trees, but spring is coming and Wind needs someplace to rest. Unfortunately, no one wants cold Wind swirling around now that it's time for spring to come. Angry, lonely, and tired, Winter Wind sets off to find a place to sleep until winter comes again.
The collaged illustrations in Good Night, Wind are intricate and interesting, if a little unappealingly dark in places. Many readers will empathize with Wind's frustration, and the suspense of whether or not Wind will find a place to rest will keep many readers making predictions and turning the pages.
