This book
features a re-telling of the “This Little piggy” rhyme. It features rhyming
scheme with piggies doing different things, counting up from one piggy to ten
piggies. The pigs are doing silly things like dancing, playing the bongos, and
eventually having a bath.
When I showed
my 10-month-old a big pile of board books this is the one she went for. The
illustrations are darling and the rhyming scheme is absolutely wonderful.
Because she already knew the little piggies rhyme, it held her interest.
I liked that it went up to ten, instead of the normal five piggies. This is a
great book for babies and I think pre-k children would like the rhyme, its very catchy.
EDIT: The whole family is obsessed with this book. We laugh every time we read it. It just catchy and hilarious.
