In this book
Mama Llama explains to Llama Llama why everyone has a job to do around the
house, not just Mama’s. She has him imagine if she just dropped things on the
floor and didn’t clean up old food in the kitchen and more. Llama Llama decides
its better if he helps out, so that he and mama has a space to play together.
My 10 month old
daughter was instantly drawn this book and listened attentively to each page.
Its not a subtle lesson about doing your chores but its probably necessary. I
know that Mama Llama features heavily in this series but I would have loved to
see the papa llama doing some housework as well. The illustrations are darling
and easy to share with a group.
