This book
features simple cartoon illustrations of happy animal families. The pages
feature different animals and how they learn. For example the Fox dad teaches
the babies to play and to hunt for buried food. The eagle babies watch their
parents fly and start to practice. The illustrations are bright and cheerful.
This book is
just okay, there isn’t a lot of continuity to how the animals learn. Many feature
parents teaching babies, but other pages, like the crow and pigs are just about
how smart they are. The illustrations are super happy and computer generated
looking, so not my favorite -reminds me of the books from the dollar store. But overall young readers will learn a thing or
two.
