The Little Green Hen is a story that follows the format of The Little Red Hen. Little Green Hen needs help caring for the beautiful, green apple tree. Some animals pitch in and help. Others are not so willing to help. This is cute story with a new twist to it; a big rain storm. What will the animals do when the rains do not stop for a very long time?
It was cute and the environmental twist on the story adds a several new discussion point. This would be cute for Pre-K through maybe 1st grade. I would recommend this book to teachers and parents of young children.
