BUYING ADVISORY: Pre-K, EL(K-3) -OPTIONAL
AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
In a series of questions, this book asks young children what they know about forests as a way to introduce them to that biome.
While it is a sweet book, it doesn't go beyond questioning to actually inform readers. Because of this, other nonfiction books about forests may be more helpful to have on the library shelves. It could, however, work as an introduction to the topic in classes with very young students.
