Danny and Lin are ready to head back into the Microterium when Lin’s mom asks them to watch Lin’s little sister, ChuChu. Danny doesn’t think it’s such a good idea, but Lin convinces him that taking ChuChu with them to see the Microsaurs is the perfect thing to do. But when the biggest Microsaur starts a stampede, they must figure out how to save ChuChu and prevent the Microterium from being completely destroyed.
Utah author Dustin Hansen, continues his series about microscopic dinosaurs. The series is fun and entertaining with two kids as the main characters. I like Lin’s tomboy attitude and Danny’s can-do spirit. Hansen always ends each book with some factual information about life-size dinosaurs. The series is probably best for second through fourth grade. The series would be a decent addition to an elementary school library but not mandatory.
