This is a slide
and seek book which require a simple finger slide interaction from the reader.
In this book a bear is hiding. The pages take readers through a variety of
forms of transportation like a bus, a car, a boat, and a hot air balloon. Where
is Bear? The reader must slide the circle to find out.
Young readers
will be fascinated by the slide and seek mechanism. I thought this book was
just downright adorable with harmonious colors and lovely illustrations. The
only reason I didn’t rate it as essential is because there really isn’t a plot,
which makes it a fun toy but not necessarily a must have book. Each book in this series has a different animal and different themed setting.
Edit: My 10 month old daughter LOVES this book and plays with it all the time, figuring out the sliders and looking at the pages. There is one page that is a pull out instead of a slider and she has trouble with that one but is curious how it works.
