Hope is in middle school, loves Galaxy Girl comic books, and science. She is a great student, loves to learn and her favorite thing about her new middle school is that she is on the robotics team. She does not have any classes with her best friend and in the beginning of the story this strains the friendship. But, as the problems with the robotics project get solved, so do the friends find a way to be friends again.
This was an OK book. The first half of the book was a little "flat" and the characters not really well developed. The last part of the book was better. It is a fast read, big print, lots of illustrations and a lot of white space. I would maybe be a good book for a student to read as their first "on my own " chapter book.
