A little girl
goes is at the beach. Despite the fact that she is quietly creating, person
after person come to bother her and ask what she is doing and what she is
making. The little girl doesn’t quite know, yet. Finally someone comes along
who is right on her wavelength.
This book is
stunningly illustrated, I truly felt like I was at the beach. But this book is
for a special someone that likes their space and lots of quiet to create; I
think other children might have trouble relating to this book. While other
points of view are a great asset in children’s literature, I think this one was
sort of boring and the main character comes off as surly and sullen.
