The Cyclops Witch and the Heebie Jeebies is a rhyming picture book. Though the witch is adventurous and not much could make her "shiver, quiver, or twitch," she is afraid of children. The illustrations of scary creatures are fun and engaging.
The Cyclops Witch and the Heebie Jeebies entertains as a scary story for younger children who don't want to be too scared. Illustrations are engaging but the book has a somewhat predictable story line. I liked The Cyclops Witch who was pretty cute and her world evoked the fun of Halloween for me. I love rhyming books to read aloud! The book was really long for a picture book though and would have been an amazing read aloud, if shorter.
