A pig watches a strange animal (a child) ride a bike around the farm and decides that she too would like to ride a bike. During the night she practices over and over again with disastrous results. Then, after help from some animal friends, she takes off and is never seen again, although legend has it you can spot her riding around the moon.
This is an entertaining book about persistence and teamwork. I don’t think the illustrations are particularly engaging or enchanting, but I liked the fable style of the ending and the positive messages.
