This quick read follows Owen around for the week, as he talks each day away. Being such an ongoing talker, he forgets to stop and listen. One day he wakes up and can’t talk. He soon learns others have important things to say, too.
This is a great book for teachers in lower grades, for the beginning of the year. It helps remind children that talking is good, but it’s also important to stop talking and listen. Kids will enjoy Owen, as he goes each day with high speed talking, then one day, can’t!
