Fiona the baby hippo was born early and the zookeepers worked hard to help her survive. All of the animals in the zoo watch her grow, waiting for a time that they can play with her too.
Unfortunately this comes out at the same time as Thayne Maynard’s well-written nonfiction book about Fiona that uses photographs. The silly style of this one is fun, but it pales in comparison to the other.
