Can you see the Jelly dots floating in the water? Inside one of those dots is Frog. Each egg is a tiny dot called frog spawn. Which egg will grow into a frog? The eggs go through a journey. They could be washed away, blown far from water, eaten by fish, or swept onto dry land. But Frog lands in just the right place and hatches. He grows a tail, then two new legs. Then he grows four legs and gets stronger while his tale shrinks. Will frog make it onto land?
Frog is a fun and clever way to teach young children about the life cycle of a frog. One of the frog's eyes on the front cover is a hole that becomes the frog egg on the subsequent pages until frog is fully grown. The illustrations are cute, simple and colorful with enough detail to depict each concept.
