A Grand Day is any day spent with grandparents. At least 3 sets of grandparents and their grandkids are featured, playing in the yard, working in the garden, drawing on the sidewalk, at the park or at a cookout. So many things to do on a grand day!
I loved the mixed-media illustrations. I was lost in the pictures - part drawings, part fabric, they have depth and energy. A darling book to share with your grandkids.
The characters are a mix of ages, cultures and races - and there's also a same-sex pair of grandpas.
