BUYING ADVISORY: Pre-K, EL (K-3), EL – OPTIONAL
AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
In Bobville, everyone is the same. They eat the same foods, wear the same clothes, think the same thoughts, and are even all named Bob. When one Bob starts to feel differently, Bobville has to decide what to do.
I wanted to like this book more than I did. The artwork is grand. Though the book wants to celebrate diversity, it also comes across as judgmental against those who aren’t diverse.
