A mother and grandmother tell a young girl about her heritage, the women whose shoulders she stands on, her mother and the generations before, as well as the legends from history who made a difference for all women. The freedom seekers, the women who fought for a vote, revolutionaries, bus riders and dreamers. We are all standing on their shoulders.

I loved the message so much! The story is illustrated with famous women throughout. It was fun to see who I know - without look at the pictures and descriptions at the back. A wonderful book about appreciating, remembering and acknowledging the women who came before and paved the way.
