It snowed where Gabo lives, but he doesn't have the right clothes or a sled to go out and play, so Mami helps him put plastic bags over his sneakers, and he wears his Papi's hat. Now, to find a sled! Although he is too shy to meet his neighbor's granddaughter, or ask to play with the other kids, the storm brings friends together anyway and he has a great day.
Ana Ramirez Gonzalez's illustrations are bright and sweet. A perfect book to share on a snowy day. Also available in Spanish.
