A little boy doesn't like stories. Not about waking up, or planes, or buildings . . . in fact this little boy doesn't like stories about anything, except maybe a story about a cat. 

Ahhhh! I loved this concept. While the text laments about everything the boy doesn't like, his cat is doing things in the illustration that ARE about those things. It's like 2 stories in one, so yes, in the end it IS a story about a cat.
