With her veterinarian mom, Kat Wolfe moves to an idyllic coastal town in England. As her mom gets the clinic off the ground, Kat volunteers to take care of some pets. She walks an elderly neighbor’s dog and pet sits a parrot. During her jobs she gathers clues that lead to one big mystery she solves with her friend, Harper Lamb.
The characters in this book are perfection. They are charming and varied and pretty well developed. The mystery itself was pretty confusing and I had a hard time holding on to all the pieces and how they fit together. But beyond the confusing mystery solution, the plot was well paced and enjoyable.
