Although Margaret Wise Brown only lived 42 years, she wrote over 100 books. I'm sure you've read some. She raised rabbits, she loved nature and she did some strange things. 

Margaret Wise Brown is quirky and unusual - very different from what I expected! Who would have known that the author of Runaway Bunny and Goodnight Moon lived a story worthy life. Mac Barnett has chosen to reveal wonderful tidbits about Brown; some gross, others endearing, all perfect. Although this is a picture book, I would be more likely to recommend this to a bit older audience - Barnett's humor deserves to be appreciated.
