Bear loves to read his favorite book of stories to such a degree that one day his book entirely falls apart. Bear decides to write his own story but struggles to come up with a good idea. While trying to battle his writer's block, Bear ends up helping out a good number of his friends from various challenges and therein lies the winning idea. The friends become the stars of his exciting tale--a tale the reader gets to enjoy along with the friends when they gather that night at Bear's home.
This was a great book with fantastic illustrations that I very much enjoyed. The idea of writer's block is very applicable to younger writers/readers, and I love how Bear realized his own life was fodder for a wonderful story.
