On a walk with her dad, Zoe spots a fawn and wonders where the mom is. She and her dad look around until they find her.
This story is overly simplistic and the author uses syilx (Okanagan) names for the animals, which seems like a good idea, but they are so complicated that it makes it impossible to read aloud.
