This book is a
fairly simple collection of dinosaurs. It features a pop-up of the dinosaur on
a two page spread with its official name and (thank you!) how to pronounce it.
The colors are muted and harmonious.
Normally a
pop-up would not be a great fit for a pre-school, but this one is fairly sturdy
and the pop-ups are very nice and basic –nothing that requires extra care to
fold or manage. I can think of several pre-k children who would absolutely love
this book. Its more artsy than realistic with very basic backgrounds of colors
and shapes (vs habitats).
