BUYING ADVISORY: EL (K-3) – ESSENTIAL
AUDIENCE APPEAL: HIGH
In this interactive story book, a yeti takes
us through a training to become a high five champion. The first part of the book coaches how to give
a good high five. Then there is a high five
championship where you compete against all sorts of animals to see who can give
the best high five, to hopefully win the championship trophy.
This book is so much fun. I actually read it to my fifteen-year-old
daughter, and we were laughing throughout.
The text rhymes and the illustrations are quirky and fun. Similar to the book Press Here, this is a fun
read to engage young readers in the story.
Reviewer, C. Peterson.
