Taking care of any pet requires a lot of responsibility, but what if your pet was a dinosaur? This silly book takes a look at the special requirements needed to care for a pet dinosaur--from having a very large shovel for scooping up after him (and even that might not be enough!) to using an appropriate amount of soap for evening baths. Do your best and your dinosaur can be a friend for life!
I enjoyed this dinosaur-themed picture book for its wonderful illustrations and silly/serious take on how to take care of a giant dinosaur as a pet. Everything is approached tongue-in-cheek, so adults will especially appreciate the jokes. This will be a big hit with dinosaur fans, and would be a fun book to read with a kid who is learning pet responsibility of any sort.
