The Wild Robot was captured, mind-wiped and sent off to Farmer Shareef to run the farm. But – something inside her was unwilling to abandon Brightbill and her island friends, so really the Wild Robot is only waiting for a chance to escape. But she will need the help of a human to fulfill her dreams.
Children who loved the first Wild Robot will definitely want to read these further adventures. Its mostly about escaping, hiding, and running, but ends with a little look at humanity and self-awareness.
