Eleven-year-old
Property Jones has lived with Netty and Michael in their bookstore since she
was left by her parents and Michael found her in the “Lost Property” box. When a contest to win the Great Montgomery
Book Emporium is announced, the Jones quickly enter and are surprised when
they win. The day they move to the
Emporium it becomes evident that Mr. Montgomery is leaving in a hurry because
there is a problem involving the Emporium.
Property falls in love with all of the amazing book rooms at the
Emporium, so she is willing to figure out the problem to save the
Emporium.
As a book lover, this book was
magical. I loved all of the creative
rooms that are in the Emporium. I
enjoyed the mystery and the cute illustrations included. My only regret about this book is that I
wanted to spend more time in the Emporium-I wish there was more books in this
world.
