Sherwyn is a boy covered in dirt. Omani is a peace dragon covered in hearts. Sherwyn pulls on a stick which ends up being a tail of a dragon. Omani’s purpose is to spread the message of peace and love. Sherwyn wants to bring Omani home to his village, but the villagers see the dragon and prepare to fight her. Sherwyn stops the villagers and shows them that Omani is covered in hearts. The villager’s embrace both Omani and her message of peace.
The story reads like a church parable and is obviously preaching love, peace, and the importance of keeping and open mind and an open heart. The illustrations are bright, colorful, and engaging.
