A contingent of knights are serving their king and queen at the castle when a flock of dragons appears. Facing off against the much larger dragons, the knights take some creative measures and end up making friends with the dragons instead of fighting them.
This is a really fantastic board book with a good rhyming text and bright, fun illustrations. My kids especially liked the second-to-last page that has fold outs to create a multi-paged scene. I loved the story--it made me and the kids laugh!--and I am so pleased to find a board book that is definitely different from the usual ho-hum often afforded to the genre. This is an essential pick for any library.
