BUYING ADVISORY: EL (K-3) - ADVISABLE
AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
When a little boy and his family make a bus their home it is hard for him to look on the bright side of things. But he keeps using his imagination. He keeps trying to look on the bright side of things until one day it gets easier. He begins to feel that he can do anything when he looks on the bright side. Then his family decides it's time to park the bus so that he can go to a real school. But he does not know anyone and he is not used to sitting still and being inside. When the school party gets canceled the boy uses his imagination and his ability to look on the bright side to save the day.
This is a sweet story about being positive and the power of imagination. I love the bright, cheerful, engaging illustrations.
