This graphic novel is about a little bird and his "pupkin" a looks like a dog with a pumpkin stem. Pupkin and Lemon Bird help each other get out of all kinds of scrapes. They get lost and go on many adventures to find their way back to make it home for adoption day.
I had a really hard time following the story line of this book. It had good intentions and the comic story is simple but nicely illustrated. I just wasn't in love with the story line. I felt like it jumped around too much. I do like in the back of the book they had a How to Draw Lemon Bird which I thought was clever. They are all animals
