A new neighbor has moved in. All of the animals, including chickens, cows, and pigs are curious to see who their new neighbor is. What does his house look like? Does he make the same noises as them? They all pile into Little Blue, the truck, to go say hi. Once they get there, they quickly see that his house looks different than theirs. The animals get nervous and shy. Good thing Little Blue is there to make everyone feel comfortable.
Little Blue Truck Makes a Friend is a cute book that teaches that you can all be very different, yet become good friends. I liked this book because of the overall message it promoted. Little Blue is a fun series of picture books that helps teach young readers important messages. All kids will find this engaging because of the funny animals and cute illustrations. My four-year-old daughter was entertained by this book.
