Little mouse can’t sleep because it’s too quiet. But when he really listens, it’s too noisy to sleep. 

A great book for teaching or learning onomatopoeia. There are lots of great sounds, and it would be a good tool for really listening to background sounds that go largely unnoticed. The pictures are done on black backgrounds, which adds to the nighttime feel.
