Fox and Rabbit are best friends. In this collection of 5 stories, they visit the fair where Rabbit learns about disappointment and Fox gets some help being brave; on a day trip to the beach, Rabbit finds lots of ways to avoid swimming; they spend a fun day at Surprise Island, where they learn that great surprises can be small things; when the friends grow a garden together, they discover that self control is a problem; and what happens when your tree grows lemons? You sell Lemonade!

There is so much to love about Fox & Rabbit! The story is engaging and funny and full of lessons about friendship and supporting each other. Gergely Dudas' illustrations are marvelous! A mostly 2 character graphic novel is great for an early reader and it lends itself perfectly for a shared read. I loved the on-going gag with Turtle showing up at the end of every chapter asking "What did I miss?" Oh, my grandson is going to love this!
