A little rabbit finds a seed, and takes it home. His mommy helps him plant it and he promises to take care of it and help it grow - just like he is cared for and growing himself. The whole community is involved with the growing of both the seed and the bunny.
The very best part of the story is the author singing the story - he's a singer-songwriter. I read an F&G, so I'm hoping a link to the song is included in the book. The last 2 pages contain the sheet music - melody line with Guitar or Ukulele chords. The illustrations, by the author's wife are super cute. What a darling bunny family - I loved how the pictures showed the passing of time, not only from the tree growing, but also the changes in the bunny's family. Adorable!
