It's a guessing game - with clues to the animal, and the constellation with lines drawn to represent, but then, if you fold out the page, you see a drawing of the animal superimposed into the stars, a bit more information and what it looks like in the sky. We learn about the Big Bear, The Rabbit, the Eagle, the Lion and many more.
This was a perfect bedtime read - while my granddaughter wasn't naturally interested in the constellations, her interest was piqued when it started with a guessing game (that she knew the answers to) and ended teaching her about the sky. The blue and gold pages and drawings have a soft sleepy look. Ready for bed, to dream about the sky and the stars.
