Clarissa has planned a tea party, but all of her toys are upset with her (for various reasons). When the toys decide to teach Clarissa a lesson by ignoring her, they realize they need her and love her.
This is a difficult book to read aloud because it is written in a play and told entirely through dialogue. While using different voices help, sometimes more than 1 character speaks at a time. The story is cute, and would be fun to act out, if you have 7 kids who want to put on a play about listening to each other in order to learn the whole story.
