Best friends Peter and Ernesto love to hang out together in the top of the tree, watching the clouds pass by. Peter thinks they have the perfect life, and is stunned when Ernesto says he wants to see other patches of sky. Can the two remain friends while far apart? More importantly, will Ernesto make it home safely so they can be together again?
Peter and Ernesto are great characters, endearing in their own ways and good at making friends. The simple phrasing, large font, and easy-to-follow panels make this a good introduction to graphic novels for younger readers. The conclusion satisfies, while a preview for the next book hints at more to come.
