Antlers? Imogene has woken up with antlers! At first everyone is startled, but as the day goes on, her family settles into the idea of the antlers and even find them helpful. The next morning, however, while Imogene’s antlers are no longer there, something may still be different.
Small’s illustrations have a charming old-fashioned feel to them – like books from the 1960’s. Kids will be amused by the grandiose nature of Imogene’s antlers – I’d love to talk to them about other ways to make use of them.
