Some sounds are beautiful. However, too much sound, beautiful or not combine to make just noise.
Romanyshyn’s book is like an exploration of sound. Each page has bright, colorful illustrations of different instruments and the sounds they make. I spent a lot of time reading this book, reading everything on every page. It is really cool! It is exploring sound, how it is made, how to measure sound, and how sound is perceived by people. I loved it, and it would be fun to read with children, make our own instruments and just experiment while making sound. Have fun with this one. It is a translation from Ukrainian and very well done.
